A. Event Schedule

      Approved as listed in the 2008 Schedule

 

B. Rules Changes:

 

1. Approved: The selection of teams to participate in the Finals will consist of the 1st place winners of the odd and even divisions in the Semis to play out a head to head for 1st and 2nd place in the tournament and the 2nd place winners of the odd and even divisions in the Semis to play out a head to head for 3rd and 4th . Vote Unanimous

 

2. Approved: There will be a graduated scale in each Division for the number of teams that will go to the Semi Finals. Vote Unanimous.

 If there are 8 or fewer teams in the Division, 4 teams will go to the Semis and play a round Robin for the winners. ( No Finals)

 If there are 9 to 12 teams 6 teams will go to the Semis and play an odd/even division semis.

 If there are 13 or more teams in the Division, 8 teams will go to the Semis and play an odd/even division semis.

 

3. Approved: The Players will NOT be required to pull the flag within 1 minute to gain "Flag Pull" points. Vote-3v2 For.

 

4. Approved: Bounce Hats to be allowed. Discussion followed and the Steering Committee felt that the added safety provided by "Bounce Hats"         out weighed the advantage given a player from the overly padded nature of the hat. Vote:Unanimous.

 

5. Approved: Time limit for 3 ma is changed to 3 miutes. Vote Unanimous.

 

C. PreRegistration
All Fields will incorporate a Preregistration procedure. Participants will be asked to preregister by Saturday Noon the day before the tournament date.This will allow fields to better coordinate Field Facilities such as Air and Sanitary Facilities that may be required for some event venues. Vote:Unanimous.
